초록/해제: 요약 : College Hill Baptist Church offers a unique ministry, The Upper Room, to college students. The ministry comprises of a coffee house and band concerts. It has achieved its goal of attracting the postmodern generation, but has been unsuccessful in offering a channel to participate in Bible study and worship of the church.

초록/해제: 요약 : Can a worship experience be established while students are participating in The Upper Room ministry? Does traditional worship speak to the needs of Generation X? Do themes of worship in the Old and New Testaments relate to the needs of Gen Xers? These questions are answered in this project of ministry with the following strategy: creation of a curriculum for the study of major biblical and theological themes of worship in the Old and New Testaments, development of a world view of Generation X, establishment of a worship team and the creation and implementation of a new worship style.

초록/해제: 요약 : Four sources are examined in the Old Testament that influence New Testament worship: the Sinai-event, temple, synagogue and festivals. In the New Testament brief descriptions of worship in hymns, confessions, benedictions, doxologies and depictive words are investigated. Aramaic, Hellenistic and Gentile Christian worship of the early church is surveyed along with non-biblical sources in the second century.

초록/해제: 요약 : A world view of the postmodern generation is developed by a description of Generation X and an examination of their culture. From this investigation, a new worship experience is created with the consideration of major biblical and theological themes of worship.
