요약 : The purpose of this Ministry Focus Paper is to present a theological model for renewal of the life and mission of the Northridge Foursquare church through facilitating a critical dialogue with the emergent leadership focusing on applying the principles of the “Agogic Moment” to every area of the Body's life.

요약 : In order for the Church to discover and fully realize the vision God has for it, an emergent leadership must be empowered with the theological tools it needs to develop and implement a plan of action. This paper discusses providing a theology for that emerging leadership focusing on that which Joseph Firet calls the “Agogic Moment,” the moment of change. After the emergent leadership has gone through a training program, it is our plan to apply the concepts of this paper to determine how we might fulfill God's purposes in the Northridge area.

요약 : This paper is divided into three Parts, each of which contains three Chapters. Part 1 is entitled, “Toward a Theology of Ministry—Understanding the “Agogic Moment,” broken into three Chapters. In Chapter I, we discuss the Theology of Ministry that focuses upon the theological process of pastoral care. It explains how pastors minister to the Father on behalf of their congregations and how this ministry can lead to a “moment of meaning” for both. Chapter II explains “Praxis” and presents a concept of “Christopraxis,” the “Praxis of Pentecost” and the “Praxis of Forgiveness and Freedom.” In Chapter III, we will discuss Joseph Firet's “Agogic Moment” towards reaching understanding of both its nature and function. Through that understanding we can readily see how the expanded forms of “Christopraxis,” “The Praxis of Pentecost” and “The Praxis of Forgiveness” in the context of the “Agogic Moment” become a Theology of Ministry.

요약 : Part 2 is entitled, “Toward a Theology of Leadership—Experiencing the ‘Agogic Moment.’ ” Chapter IV discusses the problems with which leaders deal on a personal level which can cause their resisting change in the Church. Chapter V deals with the real difficulty: behind real change. Chapter VI explores a rationale for changing some of the relational structures within the Church.

요약 : Part 3 is entitled, “Toward a Practical Application—Actualizing the ‘Agogic Moment.’ ” Chapter VII deals with the Theology of the Incarnational Church. Chapter VIII gives a tertiary discussion on the problem of meaningful, personal communication both within and without leadership and of the need for change. We address the need for closer examination of our manner and means of communicating our needs. Chapter IX presents three functional metaphors that can be used to facilitate discussion on how the “agogic moment” can be facilitated at Northridge Foursquare Church in all areas of action to stimulate thought and focus an agenda for change.
