- 요약The via media which was established as the core of the English Reformation would not have been possible without the influence of Bucer, Vermigli, and Laski. The middle ground found was a direct result of the mediating leadership of Thomas Cranmer and his conscious effort to find a theological foundation upon which a majority could agree. This mediating position and attitude is reminiscent of Martin Bucer's work on the Continent. The similarities in their leadership styles enhanced their friendship and working relationship.
