■520    ▼aThe  purpose  of  the  dissertation  was  to  analyze  the  textual  relationships  of  selected  minuscule  manuscripts  from  the  Lucan  Ksuperx/super  group  to  see  if  this  group  was  distinctive  in  the  Gospel  of  John.  The  researcher  produced  full  collations  of  manuscripts  2,  1186,  1195,  1201,  1203,  1217,  1232,  1235,  1238,  and  1322.  The  full  collations  were  used  in  multiple  quantitative  analyses  and  the  application  of  the  Claremont  Profile  Method  in  conjunction  with  the  database  of  the  Center  for  New  Testament  Textual  Studies.
■520    ▼aThe  three  types  of  quantitative  analysis  and  the  Claremont  Profile  Method  revealed  that  the  ten  assigned  manuscripts  formed  a  homogenous  group  when  compared  with  other  witnesses  in  the  database.  All  ten  selected  manuscripts  were  most  distinct  from  Western  and  Alexandrian  text-types,  with  all  showing  a  definite  Byzantine  text-type  identity.  Within  the  Byzantine  text-type,  the  manuscripts  were  closely  related  to  the  K  group.  Within  the  K  group  of  the  Byzantine,  however,  the  identity  of  these  ten  manuscripts  as  members  of  a  distinct  Ksuperr/super  group  versus  the  Ksuper1/super  and  Ksuper  r/super  groups  could  not  be  distinguished.
