■520    ▼aThis  dissertation  examines  the  five  major  factors  used  to  develop  a  contextualized  missionary  training  program  for  Korean  missionaries.  Chapter  1  defines  the  subject  of  missionary  training  in  Korea.  The  research  methodologies,  terminologies,  and  limitations  are  explained  to  answer  these  questions:  Why  does  the  Korean  missionary  need  to  be  in  a  twenty-first  century  contextualized  training  program?  How  can  we  train  them  more  effectively?
■520    ▼aChapter  2  deals  with  the  background  of  missionary  training  from  the  biblical,  historical,  missiological,  anthropological,  and  educational  foundations.  This  chapter  also  analyses  general  theories  about  missionary  training  programs  including  the  curriculum  development  process,  the  qualifications  of  trainer  and  trainee,  and  the  types  and  models  for  missionary  training  programs.
