초록/해제
요약 : Karol Wojtyla (John Paul II) develops an understanding of human freedom through philosophical anthropology that emphasizes its relationship to the truth. Blending the methodologies of Aristotelian metaphysics and phenomenology, he stresses human efficacy in acting which leads to self-determination. Freedom is found in these structures, and its relationship to the truth arises from the consequences of self-determination. Wojtyla develops his thought along the lines of the ethical debate between I. Kant and M. Scheler. His connection of freedom and truth has widespread implications for modern ethical questions such as democracy, life, and capitalism.
