■520    ▼aThis  dissertation  of  521  pages  has  the  intent  of  describing  the  Person  and  the  role  of  the  Blessed  Virgin  Mary  in  the  book  Ai  Sacerdoti  figli  prediletti  della  Madonna.  It  was  composed  in  three  parts  I)  First  Part.  The  first  part  is  composed  of  eight  chapters  1)  The  first  chapter  is  dedicated  to  the  study  of  the  person  of  Fr.  Stefano  Gobbi    2)  The  second  chapter  presents  the  phenomenon  of  interior  locution  according  to  the  classic  teachings  of  theologians  and  of  some  contemporary  masters  of  spirituality  3)  The  third  chapter  studies  the  book  Ai  Sacerdoti  figli  prediletti  della  Madonna  (ASFPM)  This  book  began  as  a  small  manuscript  of  twenty  pages  but  soon  was  translated  into  twenty-five  different  languages  4)  The  fourth  chapter  concerns  the  Marian  Movement  of  Priests  5)  The  fifth  chapter  sketches  the  ecclesial  movements  that  existed  in  the  Church  at  the  time  of  the  beginning  of  the  Marian  Movement.  Special  attention  is  given  to  the  movements  that  have  a  strong  Marian  spirituality    6)  The  sixth  chapter  presents  the  form  of  Marian  spirituality  as  it  relates  to  the  priestly  life  when  the  Marian  Movement  began  7)  The  seventh  chapter  presents  the  teachings  about  the  Blessed  Virgin  Mary  in  the  magisterial  documents  from  Vatican  II  until  1997,  the  last  year  that  the  book  ASFPM  was  written.  It  includes  the  doctrine  of  the  Church  contained  in  the  Catechism  of  the  Catholic  Church  and  the  Wednesday  catechesis  of  Pope  John  Paul  II  dedicates  to  a  reflection  about  the  Blessed  Virgin  Mary  8)  The  last  chapter  of  the  first  part  is  the  result  of  all  the  previous  chapters    II)  The  second  part  of  this  study  is  composed  of  three  chapters    1)  The  first  chapter  has  a  general  presentation  of  all  the  contents  of  the  book  ASFPM  2)  The  second  chapter,  presents  the  contents  of  the  book:  everything  that  the  Blessed  Virgin  Mary  says  about  God,  each  Person  of  the  Holy  Trinity,  Herself,  the  Church,  the  priests,  the  Marian  Movement  and  the  world  3)  The  third  chapter  contains  a  summary  of  what  was  presented  in  the  previous  chapter  III)  Third  Part.  The  third  part  of  this  study  is  divided  into  seven  chapters.  It  is  a  comparison  between  the  first  part  with  the  second  1)  The  first  chapter  is  a  comparison  between  what  theologians  wrote  about  the  phenomenon  of  interior  locution  and  what  Fr.  Gobbi  said  about  it  in  the  introduction  of  the  book  2)  The  second  chapter  is  a  comparison  between  the  book  ASFPM  and  other  booklets  contemporaneous  the  time  with  Fr.  Gobbi  began  to  write  down  the  messages  of  his  interior  locutions  3)  The  third  chapter  is  a  comparison  between  the  Marian  Movement  during  its  beginning  and  other  movements  within  Marian  spirituality  4)  The  forth  chapter  is  a  comparison  between  the  Marian  aspects  of  the  spirituality  of  the  priesthood  existed  during  the  time  that  the  book  ASFPM  was  written  with  the  one  that  is  present  in  the  messages  of  the  book  5)  The  fifth  chapter  is  a  comparison  between  the  official  teaching  of  the  Church  about  the  Blessed  Virgin  Mary  and  the  Marian  doctrine  found  in  the  book  ASFPM  6)  The  sixth  chapter  is  a  comparison  between  the  controversial  issues  presented  in  the  eighth  chapter  of  the  first  part  with  the  messages  of  the  book  7)  The  seventh  chapter  is  the  last  of  the  third  part.  This  chapter  shows  both  positive  and  negative  commentaries  addressed  to  the  contents  of  the  book  Conclusion  The  book  of  Fr.  Gobbi  presents  the  Blessed  Virgin  Mary  according  to  the  teachings  of  the  Church,  a  special  consideration  is  given  to  the  aspect  of  Mar
