■520    ▼aThis  project  is  a  model  for  National  Baptist  Churches  to  accomplish  authentic  church  growth  in  the  twenty-first  century.  It  describes  authentic  church  growth  and  presents  a  replicable  design  to  achieve  such  growth.  It  is  a  case  study  over  a  two  year  period  of  the  Bayview  Baptist  Church,  San  Diego,  California.  A  description  of  a  preaching  model  is  given  for  stimulating  church  growth,  including  various  evangelism  components  with  innovative  methods,  and  structured  discipleship  training  for  reaching  and  integrating  new  persons  into  the  congregation.  The  project  presents  a  methodology  by  which  church  growth  can  be  measured  quantitatively  as  well  as  qualitatively.
