■520    ▼aIn  this  dissertation,  I  will  study  solutions  to  the  problems  of  holistic  healing  ministry  while  looking  for  a  method  to  assist  church  members  with  troubles  due  to  spiritual,  psychological,  and  physical  problems.  Today,  the  church  should  be  concerned  about  church  member  hurts.  Therefore,  working  for  God  to  help  members  reach  God  through  holistic  healing  is  part  of  the  pastor's  role.  God  calls  and  allows  pastors  to  give  the  blessing  of  healing  and  to  take  care  of  church  members,  assisting  them  with  holistic  growth.  So,  healing  ministry  has  been  used  in  preaching  the  gospel  and  taking  care  of  God's  people  and  will  be  used  to  preach  the  gospel  in  the  future  as  well.
■520    ▼aPastors  have  God-given  resources  to  be  used  for  healing  of  humans  including  sermons,  counseling,  education,  visitation,  and  prayer.  Through  these  resources,  pastors  can  assist  those  who  have  a  sense  of  emptiness  and  are  in  crisis  as  a  result  of  being  exposed  to  twenty-first  century  culture  and  civilization.  Pastors  can  guide  them  to  grow  into  holistic  beings  through  these  elements.  The  church  of  the  twenty-first  century  must  include  healing  ministry  and  be  a  healing  community.  The  pastorate  of  Jesus  Christ  included  healing  ministry;  therefore,  today's  pastors  must  include  healing  ministry.
■520    ▼aHealing  ministry  involves  total,  holistic  healing.  Therefore,  sound  healing  requires  spiritual  counsel.  Therefore,  this  dissertation  is  centered  on  the  healing  of  church  members  who  are  carrying  many  wounds  and  presents  the  theoretical  background  of  healing  ministry.  In  addition,  it  is  devoted  to  finding  a  model  that  can  be  used  for  solving  the  problems  faced  in  pastoral  ministry  by  studying  the  healing  works  that  appear  in  the  Holy  Bible.
■520    ▼aTherefore,  in  this  dissertation,  the  motive  of  study  and  problems  are  raised  in  the  first  chapter.  The  theological  and  biblical  background  is  discussed  in  the  second  chapter.  The  third  chapter  intends  to  identify  and  establish  a  healing  ministry  modeled  after  Christ's  and  that  of  the  Twelve  Apostles,  surveying  the  theoretical  documents  on  healing  ministry  and  pastoral  counseling.  The  types  of  healing  ministry  are  analyzed  from  actual  experiences  and  practical  application  is  discussed  in  the  fourth  chapter.  The  results,  evaluation,  and  suggestions  are  made  in  the  fifth  chapter.  This  study  shows  that  contemporary  pastoral  ministry  is  an  efficient  method  for  the  spiritual  healing  of  human  beings.
