■520    ▼aQuestions  about  meaning  and  fulfillment  in  life  are  an  important  quest,  especially  in  that  period  of  redefining  and  searching  for  direction  in  life  known  as  midlife.  In  the  journey  of  life,  Dream  is  a  foundation  of  energy  and  motivation  that  generates  excitement  and  vitality  to  overcome  obstacles.  Through  this  study,  the  identity  and  the  source  of  vitality  in  the  lives  of  Christian  midlife  women  was  examined  in  a  Christian  context.
■520    ▼aThe  goal  of  this  study  was  to  explore  Korean  Christian  midlife  women's  relationship  with  God  and  their  Dream.  Including  employed  women,  homemakers,  and  students,  20  women  participated  in  2  in-depth  interviews  using  a  semi-structured  method.  Their  ages  ranged  from  40  to  55  years  old  and  they  all  lived  in  different  parts  of  Seoul.  The  women  were  contacted  within  3  contexts:  (a)  a  strongly  denominational  evangelical  Christian  church;  (b)  a  private,  denominational,  evangelical  Christian  liberal  arts  university;  and  (c)  personal  acquaintances  of  the  researcher  who  voluntarily  showed  interest  in  participating  in  this  study.  The  findings  revealed  that  the  participants'  Dreams  had  special  meaning  in  relation  to  suffering  in  their  past.  Suffering  played  an  important  role  as  a  stepping  stone  to  draw  near  to  God,  changing  hardship  into  appreciation  of  life,  changing  perspectives  on  problems,  and  encouraging  reprioritization  of  life  in  God.  The  characteristics  of  the  Dream  can  be  summarized  as  RA.I.N.B.O.W.M.A.P.  These  letters  symbolize  the  themes  of  recognition,  age,  identity,  next  generation,  benefit  others,  orientation,  work  experience,  money,  appreciation,  and  past  suffering.
