■520    ▼aFindings  and  conclusion.  The  findings  that  were  significant  were  many.  It  was  found  that  second  year  was  significant  with  attitudes  toward  the  poor  and  poverty  scores  using  the  statistical  method  of  ANOVA.  It  was  also  found  that  individualism  and  fatalism  were  found  to  be  significant  predictors  of  attitudes  in  the  beliefs  in  the  causes  of  poverty  using  the  statistical  method  of  multiple  regression.  It  was  also  found  that  Bible/theological  scores  were  found  to  be  significant  in  relation  to  education  majors  as  compared  to  other  seminary  majors.
■520    ▼aProblem.  The  problem  of  this  study  was  to  determine  the  difference  in  the  attitude  toward  poverty  and  the  poor  scores  between  first-year,  second-year,  and  third-year  seminarians  of  the  Philippine  Baptist  Theological  Seminary  in  Baguio  City,  Philippines.  The  second  statement  of  the  problem  was  to  determine  the  relationship  between  attitude  toward  poverty  and  the  poor,  and  a  specified  set  of  predictor  variables  among  seminarians  of  the  Philippine  Baptist  Theological  Seminary  in  Baguio  City,  Philippines.  These  variables  are:  structuralism  scores,  fatalism  scores,  and  individualism  scores.
■520    ▼aProcedures.  From  August  20,  2008  to  August  25,  2008,  the  entire  population  of  Philippine  Baptist  Theological  Seminary  was  surveyed  with  91  respondents.  The  results  of  the  scores  were  entered  into  the  SPSS  14.0  statistical  software  and  a  series  of  statistical  procedures  were  performed.  An  ANOVA  was  used  for  the  first  statement  problem  and  a  multiple  regression  was  used  for  the  second  problem  statement.
