■520    ▼aChosen  for  this  study  were  two  mono-ethnic  Mongolian  MWCs  and  two  multi-ethnic  MWCs  with  Mongolian  ministries  that  were  engaged  in  Returned  Migrant  Worker  Mission  (RMWM).  The  purpose  of  this  study  was  to  discover  the  significant  factors  that  influence  the  establishment  and  the  growth  of  returned  migrant  worker  churches  (RMWC)  in  Mongolia.  Factors  affecting  leadership  development,  evangelism,  church  planting,  and  church  growth  were  investigated.  Data  was  gathered  in  Korea  and  Mongolia  using  participant  observations,  survey  questionnaires,  document  reviews,  and  interviews  of  both  Koreans  and  Mongolian  migrant  workers.
■520    ▼aIn  conclusion,  MWM  is  an  effective  mission  strategy,  not  only  for  evangelizing  the  migrant  workers,  but  also  in  overseas  church  planting.  Further,  for  the  establishment  of  a  healthy  RMWC,  more  Korean  ministers  need  to  be  trained  to  direct  MWM  effectively  in  their  churches  and  more  native  pastoral  leadership  needs  to  be  developed  through  the  establishment  of  Bible  schools  or  seminaries  that  would  disciple  and  educate  them  in  their  given  context.
■520    ▼aMigrant  Worker  Mission  (MWM),  a  subset  of  Diaspora  missions,  was  developed  to  attend  to  the  particular  context  of  the  migrant  workers,  which  have  increased  unprecedentedly  since  the  early  1990s  in  Korea.  Comparable  the  outreach  ministries  of  the  Protestant  Americans  to  the  Chinese  migrant  workers  in  the  US  in  the  late  1800's,  the  ministerial  goals  of  the  four  Korean  churches,  chosen  for  this  study,  were:  (1)  to  evangelize  and  disciple  the  migrant  workers  through  the  ministry  of  migrant  worker  church  (MWC)  and  (2)  to  evangelize  the  nations  through  the  migrant  believers  that  return.
■520    ▼aThe  findings  indicate  that  the  pastoral  leadership  of  the  returning  migrant  believer,  especially  one  with  a  theological  training  and  pastoral  experiences  was  the  most        critical  element  in  the  development  and  the  steady  growth  of  the  RMWC.  The  continued  financial  and  spiritual  support  from  the  Korean  churches  to  the  RMWC,  including  the  provision  for  a  place  to  worship  was  also  crucial.  Third,  the  study  showed  that  the  vision  and  direction  of  the  Korean  MWC  ministers  to  the  migrant  mission  directly  affected  the  two  former  factors.  Additionally,  the  emerging  roles  of  the  female  ministers  among  the  MWC  became  apparent  in  this  study.
