■520    ▼aThe  supervisory  working  alliance  is  an  integral  component  of  clinical  supervision.  The  purpose  of  this  proposal  is  to  examine  the  influence  of  the  supervisor's  perception  of  the  supervisory  working  alliance  on  supervisee  work  satisfaction  and  work-related  stress.  A  demographic  questionnaire  was  given  to  each  participant  to  assess  if  the  individual  meets  the  criteria  for  the  study.  There  were  153  mental  health  professionals  that  participated  in  the  study  and  worked  in  a  behavioral  health,  mental  health,  or  governmental  agency  setting.  The  supervisee's  perception  of  job  satisfaction  and  work-related  stress  was  measured  utilizing  the  supervisory  working  alliance  scale,  the  Minnesota  Satisfaction  Questionnaire-Short  Form,  and  the  Occupational  Stress  Inventory-Revised.  On  the  Minnesota  Satisfaction  Scale  there  was  no  relationship  indicated  across  the  subscales.  Additionally,  it  was  concluded  that  the  supervisory  working  alliance  had  no  effect  on  job  satisfaction.  Furthermore,  two  out  of  fourteen  subscales  within  the  Occupational  Stress  Inventory-Revised  indicated  that  there  was  a  relationship  between  the  variables.  Specifically,  self-care  and  rational/cognitive  coping  resources  were  found  to  be  significant  factors  in  describing  the  relationship  between  the  supervisory  working  alliance  and  work-related  stress.  Keywords:  clinical  supervision,  supervisory  working  alliance,  job  satisfaction,  work  ---  related  stress.
