- 요약 : The primary objective of this study examined to see if there was a significant difference between victims and non-victims who were cyberbullied and psychological distress. Secondly, the researcher examined the different types of psychological distress exhibited by victims of cyberbullying. Additional variables examined; cyberbullying, ethnicity, gender, age, grade level, and grade point average (GPA), depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and hostility.

- 요약 : The secondary data was taken from first result of the Longitudinal Investigation of the Risk and Protective Factors of Dating Violence (Dating It Safe ) 2010-12. Dating It Safe is a study on teen dating violence and adolescent risk behaviors. The sample consisted of 44% male (n = 459) and 56% female (n = 583) high school students in grades nine through eleven. Five instruments were used to examine and measure the data; Generalized Anxiety the subscale from Screen for Child Anxiety Related Disorders (SCARED), Depression the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale: (CES-D10), Hostility the subscale from the Symptoms Checklist-90 (SCL-90), and PTSD (PC-PTSD). Cyberbullying was examined and measured using the Youth Internet Safety Survey (YISS).

- 요약 : Results for hypothesis one found victims of cyberbullying significantly reported more psychological distress than non-victims of cyberbullying. Hypothesis two found that males reported statistically lower levels than females on Generalized Anxiety Symptoms and Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms, but not for Depression and Hostility. Hypothesis three found that there was no statistically significant difference in GPA for Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms, Generalized Anxiety Symptoms, and Hostility. Hypothesis four: found that there was no statistically significant difference for Generalized Anxiety Symptoms, Hostility, Depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms based on ethnicity. Hypothesis five found a statistically significant difference for Hostility, based on age, but not Generalized Anxiety Symptoms, Depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms. Hypothesis six found that Hostility reports were significant by grade level, but not for General Anxiety Symptoms, Depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms.
