■520    ▼aThere  has  been  extensive  debate  regarding  the  efficacy  of  sexuality  education  curricula  for  teenagers.  Moreover,  the  dearth  of  religiously  oriented  sexuality  education  is  an  area  of  concern  for  parents  of  Christian  teenagers  and  religious  leaders.  There  is  evidence  to  suggest  that  religious  adolescents,  particularly  among  minority  groups,  are  engaging  in  risky  sexual  behaviors.  This  dissertation  is  proposing  a  curriculum  geared  toward  religiously-oriented  audiences.  It  is  The  Principle  Investigator's  (PI)  hope  that  such  a  curriculum  will  provide  Christian  leaders  with  quality  information  and  resources  to  address  the  sexuality  education  needs  of  religious  parents  and  their  children.  The  scope  of  this  project  did  not  include  implementation  of  the  curriculum,  just  the  creation  of  it.  As  a  result,  it  was  not  assessed  regarding  the  efficacy  in  educating  parents.  However,  specific  experts  were  utilized  to  review  the  curriculum  for  accuracy,  practicality,  and  usability.  Each  reviewer  was  asked  to  subjectively  review  each  chapter  related  to  their  expertise  to  allow  the  most  latitude  for  constructive  criticism  and  feedback.  The  results  of  the  expert  review  confirmed  the  need  for  a  program  as  suggested  by  this  author.  From  an  overall  curriculum  perspective,  very  few  changes  were  recommended  in  terms  of  usability  and  ease  of  use.  Additions  were  made  to  the  curriculum  in  regards  to  biological  and  scientific  information  throughout  the  chapters  on  biology,  conception,  contraception,  and  Sexually  Transmitted  Infections  (STIs).  The  recommendation  to  interact  with  authors  of  systematic  theology  additionally  proved  to  add  depth  and  richness  to  the  chapter  on  spirituality  and  sexuality.
