■520    ▼aThis  dissertation  applies  previously  established  ancient  Hebrew  dialect  research  methodologies  to  the  language  of  the  book  of  Proverbs.  After  exhaustive  examination,  the  author  identifies  478  Israelian  Hebrew  features  in  the  entire  book.  Consequently,  the  conclusion  is  drawn  that  the  book  of  Proverbs  is  an  Israelian  composition,  written  in  the  northern  kingdom  of  Israel  by  individuals  who  wrote  and  spoke  the  northern  dialect  of  ancient  Hebrew.
