■520    ▼aBruehler  shows  that  Zechariah  4:6-7  was  an  original  and  integral  part  of  the  lamp  vision  recorded  in  chapter  4,  and  that  it  has  to  do  with  the  refounding  of  the  temple  in  520  B.C.E.  by  Zerubbabel.  He  then  demonstrates  that  4:10b  is  part  of  the  oracle  of  4:8-10  (not  part  of  the  vision's  interpretation)  and  that  this  second  oracle,  coming  at  a  later  date,  has  to  do  with  the  completion  of  the  temple  by  Zerubbabel.  Finally,  with  these  pieces  in  place,  he  offers  a  coherent  understanding  of  the  whole  of  Zechariah  4.
